Alex Magallan and Mark Mulville checked in recently with some little updates and a couple of photos. Alex has been riding at home in Nashville, but will be leaving on a trip with his parts sponsor, Tree Bikes. Look for him to be pedaling really fast across Missouri. Mulville recently made his annual pilgrimage from Pittsburgh to Florida for the winter. One word to describe Mark? Nomad. Speaking of "Nomad", have you tried them yet?
Check out Matt Rodriguez as he pushes around his stomping grounds and chats about his new shoe, the "Cat Rod S"
Check out Chris Miller's winning run from the Dew Tour
Shane Weston has been over in Spain for a bit with the FLY Bikes crew. He shot me some pics, and this little note: "Been in Vigo Spain for a little bit now for a FlyBikes trip. Definitely a beautiful city. "uno coca cola por favor" is the only thing I can say in Spanish and is probably the most important. We leave tomorrow for northern Spain. This place is so untapped for the exception of Barcelona and Madrid. Time to search and enjoy!" As you can see, he's doing perfectly well. He learned how to order a coke. And if you know Shane, that's all he needs.
Made a stop in Sacramento and had the pleasure of skating Matt Rodriguez's backyard setup.
Steve Nesser chats about his new shoe, the "Artisan"
We'd like to wish our boy, Alex Magallan a happy birthday. Alex has been doing a lot lately. He just got back from a trip to Canada with the Sunday Bikes team. In addition to ripping on his bike, Alex also is a hillbilly olympian, as evident in the roof jump photo (shot by Derek DeRose). Nice form...
Steve shows you how to do a proper FS Smith Grind.
Made our way up to the Ukiah Park, cooked up some more taco's and then headed over to a rad backyard ramp, big thanks to everyone who helped us out.
Made shop stops at Boardgarden, Brotherhood, Freedom, Prooflab, cooked a few more taco's, and got a quick skate in at Sonoma Old School to round out another section of the trip. Thanks to everyone who came out!
